Bogren Digital’s latest release, the Tue Masden IR Signature Pack, provides a collection of guitar cabinet impulse responses captured by Danish producer and engineer Tue Madsen, who has worked with acts such as Meshuggah, Behemoth, The Black Dahlia Murder, and many others over the span of his 25-year career.
Tue had previously collaborated with Bogren Digital last year, developing a collection of sounds for the Kemper Profiler system. Following the release, a large number of users requested impulse response versions that could be used with alternative hardware and software solutions. The company have responded to the requests with this latest pack, which offers a collection of impulse responses which they say are compatible with any hardware or software IR loaders.
A total of of 31 impulse responses are included in the pack, with Rhythm, Clean, and Lead sound variants all provided. Each of the sounds have been mixed and recorded by Tue using his personal collection of amps, cabinets, and microphones, all of which have been used to produce and record albums for some of the world’s top metal acts.
