Spirit of Unicorn Music have announced the upcoming release of Keith Emerson - Variations, a box set containing 20 CDs that covers the legendary keyboard player’s entire career, from his time in The Nice and Emerson, Lake & Palmer, to his solo projects and ventures in composing film soundtracks. Recommended for anyone just discovering Keith’s music and seasoned fans alike, the box set is said to offer the most definitive collection of his work available today.
Presented in a decorative box, the collection of 20 CDs are accompanied by sleeve notes written by Jerry Ewing, Editor of Prog Magazine, delivering a fascinating recollection of Keith’s history thanks to the input of many of his collaborators. Additionally, the set also comes complete with a 48-page book which contains many never-before-seen photos taken directly from the Emerson family archive.
The collection has been curated with the full involvement and blessing of the Emerson family, with Keith’s son Aaron saying: “It is with great excitement that we can share all of Dad’s great work, expanding throughout his long career. I hope it gives you as much joy as it has done for all of us.”
