FL Studio updated

Plug-in delay compensation implemented

Software developers Image Line have released an update to their DAW program, FL Studio. Version 9.1 now includes a plug‑in called Fruity Convolver, which, as its name suggests, is a convolution‑based reverb that not only allows you to load impulse responses, but to create them too. Next up is Drumpad, a drum‑modelling instrument that uses the same engine as Image Line’s stand-alone Drumaxx synth. Perhaps the most interesting new feature, however, is ‘assisted plug‑in delay compensation’. This allows you to scan your project for tracks that include latency‑inducing plug‑ins, and will then automatically delay other tracks so that all your audio and MIDI tracks will line up perfectly.
