Austrian Audio have announced that until 31 May 2024, customers who purchase a new OC818 microphone through an authorised dealer will receive a complimentary pair of their Hi‑X55 precision headphones worth $349£299.
The OC818 is a multi-pattern capacitor mic that feature’s Austrian Audio’s hand-made CKR12 ceramic capsule, and comes equipped with dual outputs that make it possible to capture the output of each diaphragm separately and adjust the polar pattern after recording. The Hi-X55 was the first model in Austrian Audio’s High Excursion headphone range, which have been designed with critical tasks such as editing and restoration projects in mind, but with a closed-back design that offers enough isolation for tracking duties.
