What software should I buy to create my own Akai‑format CDs? I use both a Mac G4 and a PC. I've built quite an extensive library for my Akai S3000 over the past years and I keep my programs on Zip disks, but they are starting to suffer from errors.

Editor Paul White replies: The technique is to put your samples onto an Akai‑format hard disk first, then use a program such as Toast to create a disk image. You need to use a CD‑burning program that will let you mount non‑Mac/PC disks, but after that it should just be a matter of burning the image file to CD.
