Yorkville Sound have announced the launch of the YXL10SP, a compact 10-inch powered subwoofer that promises to provide working DJs and musicians with hefty bass performance in a small and portable enclosure.
The YXL10SP's rear panel.The latest offering joins the YXL15SP and YXL18SP, becoming the third subwoofer in the YXL range and providing an ideal solution for those who need enhanced low-end performance in smaller rehearsal and performance spaces. Pairing an efficient 10-inch driver with a built-in 1000W (peak) amplifier, the unit is said to deliver an impressive output level considering its size, and is also easy to transport, weighing in at just 15.6kg.
Stereo line-level inputs are provided on XLR/TRS combo sockets, whilst an additional pair of XLR sockets offer a link output to pass a signal on to a pair of top cabinets. An onboard level control is present, with protection circuitry in place to avoid components being damaged by signals overloads, and the device is also equipped with three different EQ presets: Punch, Smooth and Deep.
