Retro studio owner launches tape calibration app

Mara Machines founder Chris Mara has been restoring MCI tape machines for years. Now, he’s dragging them into the 21st century with a few nifty updates. The first is an iOS app that walks you through the calibration of a tape machine. He’s also unveiled a couple of interesting new retrofit options for Mara Machine tape systems: a wireless remote control and an API-style output stage.
