Prism Sound's flagship A-D/D-A converter system, the Dream ADA-128, is now shipping. The first units have already been sent out to customers in the UK, USA, Japan, Germany and France, with the company planning to fulfil further orders over the coming weeks.
Originally announced in 2020, the ADA-128 is a modular system which can be fitted with up to 16 analogue and digital IO modules, offering up to 128 channels of the company’s renowned A‑D and D‑A conversion in a 2U rack unit. Compatibility with Pro Tools HDX, MADI, AES3 and Dante systems is provided, and the device is also capable of acting as a networkable audio distribution and processing system in addition to its conversion functionality.
The Dream ADA-128 can be fitted with up to 16 analogue and digital I/O cards, and is capable of offering an incredible 128 channels of A-D/D-A conversion whilst occupying just 2U of rack space.
