Mix With The Masters open studio in Paris

New facility designed by WSDG

MWTM Paris Studio

Audio education institution Mix With The Masters (MWTM) have teamed up with the Walters-Storyk Design Group, one of the most prestigious studio architecture and design firms in the world, to build a brand-new, world-class recording facility in Paris. The studio will apparently serve as a flagship location for MWTM's educational programmes, as well as providing services to the many famous engineers associated with MWTM (their “extended family”).

Located in the very centre of the French capital, the two-storey facility was designed with the help of cutting-edge acoustic modelling techniques (about which you can read more here), and was apparently heavily influenced by classic American studios — which MWTM say should help their roster of world-famous engineers feel right at home straight away.

As well as being able to accommodate large ensembles thanks to its capacious live rooms, the new studio also houses a dedicated drum booth, a number of iso booths, and is also set up to accommodate video production.
