Closer Music have announced an upcoming tour which will see Grammy-winning engineer Luca Pretolesi deliver a series of mixing and mastering workshops in eight cities around the world.
The tour will begin at Abbey Road Institute in Miami on 22 March 2024, coinciding with the city’s renowned Ultra Music Festival Weekend. Dates in Venice, Warsaw, Paris, Rimini and Amsterdam will follow, before a final stop in Milan on 13 April 2024. Each workshop promises an exceptional experience within an intimate setting, with attendees given the chance to delve into the intricacies of mixing and mastering while gaining invaluable insights and being guided through a range of techniques designed to inspire their creativity and enhance the quality of their work. The workshops will also feature a behind-the-scenes walkthrough of some of Luca’s greatest work, as well as offering the unique experience of mixing and mastering a Closer Music track selected by Luca.

Aimed at budding producers and engineers, as well as seasoned professionals or music enthusiasts, the tour promises to offer a unique opportunity for attendees to expand their skills and network with industry professionals. At the end of each workshop, Luca will present students with an opportunity to mix and master a second Closer Music track, which can to be entered into a competition judged by renowned industry figures. The winner will be awarded prominent features across the Closer Music and MyMixLab websites.
